Salon des Refuses - NYC 2012
Salon des Refuses NYC 2012 was an exhibition of custom built furniture works using reclaimed wood. It was a side show to the 12x12 competition, for the designers that didn't make the original cut yet were just as interesting and creative as the original 12. The exhibition took place in May 2012, during the Design Week on the streets of NYC - namely Gansevoort Plaza at the Meatpacking District. The designers displayed their completed works through the weekend attracting general public, tourists, passerby traffic and invited friends alike. After the weekend of great weather and great custom woodwork celebration continued in the Yippie Cafe at 9 Bleeker St, off of Bowery.
